The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)

Optimum’s Chief Executive Peter Rushton is a Past President of CIPS, completing his Presidency in October 2011.  He is also a former Chairman of the CIPS Board of Management and previously served on CIPS Council as an elected member representing the Business Services sector.  Having supported CIPS in a voluntary capacity for the past sixteen years, Peter continues to be active in his support of the Institute and the procurement profession. 

Optimum Procurement are proud to support CIPS and their goal of improving professional standards within the procurement and supply profession.  We do this by ensuring that all of our procurement staff are CIPS qualified or studying towards the qualification.  Optimum has also adopted the CIPS code of professional ethics, a world standard in ethical guidelines, across our business.
